Young Participation Project Workshop 2024 Idea Competition is being held under the umbrella of Sakarya Digital Office, run by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, Strategy Development Department. The Young Participation Project Workshop aims to involve young people in decision-making processes by developing ideas and projects for the future of the city. The project that is deemed worthy of first place after the citizens' vote in the Idea Competition will be given the "Sakarya Urbanism Award", and each project that participates in the citizens' voting will be given the "Participation Incentive Award".
Applications will be made as individuals, groups, initiatives, platforms or clubs between the ages of 15-30 on the "www.sakarya.bel.tr" website until October 13. Following the jury evaluation, the projects will be submitted to public voting between 18 November - 01 December 2024. The winning projects will be announced on December 2.
Participants in the study chose the information they wanted in a total of 6 different categories: "Food, Environment and Water Management", "Architectural and Urban Design", "Transportation and Urban Mobility", "Youth, Sports and Culture", "Social Services" and "Digitalization". Otherwise, he/she will be able to present more than one project.
