This year, Romania's West Timisoara University participated in the Timisoara International Miniature Arts Biennial, run by the Faculty of Fine Arts, with artists, academics and shows from many parts of the world such as Turkey, Austria, England, Germany, Italy and Brazil. Approximately 500 people from 33 countries applied to the biennial from the fields of Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Textile Arts and Photography; Assoc. Prof. from the Ceramics and Glass Department of our university's Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. Dicle Oney, Assoc. Pınar Güzelgün Hangün, Res. See. Beyza Usta, Res. See. Dr. Works by Mürsel Koca, master's degree Ayşe Kurt, Emine Keskin, Nurbanu Pırıldar Güler, Serra Özçelik, and Research Assistant from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts. See. Dr. Emsele Bal's work was selected and deemed worthy of the exhibition.
Assoc. Prof. from the Department of Visual Communication Design. With the works of Suzan ORHAN, Ceramics and Glass Department Lecturer. See. Tuba MARMARA's work was deemed worthy of the "Award Candidate" (Nomination), which is a separate category at the Biennial, as a result of the jury evaluation.
